Abstract

|
This study aims to find the effects of the reminiscence therapy program on the perception of the elderly suffering from dementia. To reach its goal, this study conducted a reminiscence therapy program as a gradual structural approach. Twelve weeks`` implementation of the reminiscence therapy program led to the following result of this study. Seniors suffering from dementia who joined in the reminiscence therapy program showed increase in the score of the mini mental state examination (MMSE-K) for the experimental group, leading to significant difference between the control group and the experimental group (p<.01).
